The bike is good project began life in 2011 as a transcontinental bicycle adventure. As we pedalled from Seattle to Boston it grew into something even bigger. Life from the bike became life as we knew it, a way of engaging with the world that was much richer and honest than we had previously known. On our return to Australia we have tried to continue in the b.i.g. spirit, still happiest pedalling!

Day 3 Deception Pass to Rasar State Park 75km
A real turn around day, confidence is building, we are encouraged and supported by other riders, locals and other campers as well. A day of easy riding, with a very helpful tailwind, made for two very contented campers in the gorgeously green Rasar State Park. We closed the day with a walk along the rapidly moving and high waters of the river Skagit, swollen by the beginnings of snow melt from a long and frozen winter. We begin to get into the rhythm of the trip.

While the sympathetic pain in my gluteal region pings while I walk, the absolute joy as I drift away in my mind of the tactile descriptions caries me to a snug little spot on the handlebars! Total prime position to share in cyber world this amazing experience! On your toughest hills feel that little extra push my muscles are sending your way!! Go girls, we couldn't be prouder!!!!!!
