The bike is good project began life in 2011 as a transcontinental bicycle adventure. As we pedalled from Seattle to Boston it grew into something even bigger. Life from the bike became life as we knew it, a way of engaging with the world that was much richer and honest than we had previously known. On our return to Australia we have tried to continue in the b.i.g. spirit, still happiest pedalling!

b.i.g. dog

While we were touring and tootling across the USA our Greyhound Lady Tash was on her own 'Tour de Care' through various branches of the Sensi family in Victoria, Australia. We couldn't have been luckier in finding the perfect 'dog-sitting' solution - and we know that Tash fully agrees. Most of the time she spent on a country residence near Ballarat, being in the best of hands with Aunty Fran & Uncle Joe. There she not only enjoyed the company of fellow dog friends Dale and Tiny but also found plenty of joy in country style living. Several other Sensi family members also offered their dog-sitting expertise and made sure that Tash didn't get an opportunity to feel that she was left behind. The reunion with Tash upon our return to Melbourne was one joyful affair.

Joyfully reunited in Melbourne, ready for  the Christmas celebrations!

  2. Actually we have a huge dog fan among us and as one of Mathilda's (15 months) first sounds are "uff uff", we think a dog internship with Tash would be appropriate.

Let us know when Tash has time.

  3. Darling tash, we just wanted to tell you how much we came to appreciate how well behaved you are and how well your mum's taught you good manners!!!
We recently looked after some dogs who we were told were house trained, not sure what sort of house they were trained for but it was not one even for a sophisticated canine like yourself!!!! OMG they tore our little house apart!!!! Anyway long story short after a night shift 3hour round trip to the kennels and more domestos than our noses could handle we are so very very glad that you are as good a guest as you are and we want to welcome you (as always) to our home!!!! Hope your enjoying some fun in the country!!!! Xx Bec & Lena xxx
