The bike is good project began life in 2011 as a transcontinental bicycle adventure. As we pedalled from Seattle to Boston it grew into something even bigger. Life from the bike became life as we knew it, a way of engaging with the world that was much richer and honest than we had previously known. On our return to Australia we have tried to continue in the b.i.g. spirit, still happiest pedalling!

Thank you Diane and Joel.

Just a quick note to say 'thank you' again for the heart-warming meet in a Scarborough ME parking lot. You have decorated our 5000 miles by offering us the kind of American hospitality and goodwill that we have been so lucky to receive a few times along our journey across the USA. As we don't have to be in Rockport MA before Sunday afternoon, we will enjoy a 'bicycle lingering' day tomorrow and hope to enjoy a nice easy ride into the York Beach area. If you feel like joining us for an after ride ice cream or a TGIF drink it would be great to catch up again - our cell phone is 206-612-7196.
