The bike is good project began life in 2011 as a transcontinental bicycle adventure. As we pedalled from Seattle to Boston it grew into something even bigger. Life from the bike became life as we knew it, a way of engaging with the world that was much richer and honest than we had previously known. On our return to Australia we have tried to continue in the b.i.g. spirit, still happiest pedalling!

What a welcome at the top of Lost Trail Pass!

No kidding! This is how we were greeted at the top of Lost Trail Pass! Thank you to this very friendly (unknown) couple from Seattle who decided for an unplanned break at the top of the pass only to wait for us to arrive and to greet us with big smiles and refreshments all touring cyclists dream of. I am a glad that I took this spontaneous picture otherwise we would doubt that this truly happened to us. Whoever you are and wherever you are - thank you for providing us with this premium gesture that will be remembered as long as we are on tour.
