The bike is good project began life in 2011 as a transcontinental bicycle adventure. As we pedalled from Seattle to Boston it grew into something even bigger. Life from the bike became life as we knew it, a way of engaging with the world that was much richer and honest than we had previously known. On our return to Australia we have tried to continue in the b.i.g. spirit, still happiest pedalling!

Location: Big Sky Montana, Photographer: Friendly Illinoian

It wasn't all smiles that day, but thanks to an unknown friendly traveller from Illinois we received the pleasure of an unexpected picture stop, including a well-needed boost of the moral by receiving good wishes and acknowledgement that what we are doing is a little bit crazy... Thank you friendly, unknown Illinoian!

  1. Most Excellent Ladies!

Just a quick note to let you know, I have been out of pocket myself the last 12 days or so. I was out of the country doing a bit of snorkeling and zip lining on the Island of St. Maarten.

I am excited to be back in the loop of your truly enormous adventure! So is there a rough spot in your wheel that is causing challenges with your tyres? Or is the rubber on that particular one faulty?
    Ride on!
